On Friday, August 27, the Director of the Directorate of Security and Maritime Operations, Rear Admiral LT. Don Juan Pablo Heusser R., accompanied by his Assistant Director Captain LT Don Ivan VALENZUELA B. and officers from that Directorate, visited the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA), being received by Director, Captain Don Patricio CARRASCO H. and his Officials. The Director of SHOA, held a conference about the task of the service highlighting the history, the strategic products such as also the different activities that take place in cabinet and ground in the areas of hydrography, cartography and oceanography. Continued with a tour for the Departments of Hydrography, Oceanography, Production, and to visit the Electronic Nautical Card Simulator Official Time, Correctors’ Seccion and Library among others. Subsequently held a fellowship activity with SHOA envelope. |
