On Saturday August 7 at 10:00 Hrs. Applicants Course for Reserve Officer Yates CAOR 2010, visited the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA), being received by Director, Captain Patricio CARRASCO H. After a presentation about the task of the Service, described by Commander Carrasco , the delegation toured the units of the Hydrographic Department, where they learned about Flow Mapping, the Electronic Chart Simulator, the Historic Exhibition Room and the offices of the Operating Room National Warning System for Tsunami (SNAM). During the visit, the course appreciated and instructed about many tasks performed by the Service, both in cabinet and field, whose activities provide benefit to the country. On taking leave of the delegation, Commander CARRASCO wished them success in the course currently under development. |
