On Friday July 2 at 11:30hrs. a group of guests of commander in chief of the navy accompanied by the Admiral Miguel Angel Vergara V. visited the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy SHOA . where were received by the director of security and maritime operations. LT Rear Admiral juan Pablo Heuss R. and the director of SHOA Captain Patricio Carrasco H. The director of SHOA made a presentation about the task of the service emphasizing the carto hydro oceanographic activities developed in field and cabinet. Later they conducted a tour for some units where they learned about the mapping flow the National Tsunami Warning and the Station Time. |
