Between June 22 and 23 , a delegation from the Southern Command of United States, composed by Commander Mr Óscar Monterrosa, Commander Mr Mike Duensing and Mr. Eric VILLALOBOS, they visited the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA) where they were received by the Director, Captain Patricio CARRASCO H. and Chief of Plans and Operations, Lieutenant Commander Mr Andrés ENRIQUEZ O. The purpose of the visit was to coordinate and plan the possible support of the United States Navy, the various hydrographic and Geodesic works being done in the area of Eighth Region product of variations in the depth and the displacements field as a result of the earthquake of February27 . During the course of the meeting, raised the Needs work and priorities. |
