On Sunday May 30 between 10:00 Hrs. and 17:30 Hrs. Service Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA), opened its doors to community with the occasion of celebrating the "Day of Cultural Heritage of Chile." on May 31. The visits made by adults and children toured the Building Department of the Directorate of the Service, house built on year 1900 that belonged to the wealthy family Espejo and the historical Hall which housing the Hydrographic Illustrious Nautical Charts of different hydrographic surveys made in past and images of vessels who supported the realization of the different tasks. Besides the above, visited the Station Time located in the building adyacent to the house which also dates from 1900 and the historic Exhibition Hall located in the basement of both property. |
