Between May 3 and 7, was carried out in units of the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA), training of specialized personnel in the installation and programming of new data-collecting platforms sea level. The training was led by U.S. coach VAISALA Company, Mr. Phillip Allegretti, also counted with the participation of Mr. Eugene Valderrama M. from METCOM Company. During the training, were tested new platforms VAISALA MAWS model 110, which in the short term replace the current model 555C platform, enhancing its operational capabilities by incorporating a new sensor, alternative sea level, which operates on waves radar. | |
