On Wednesday May 12 at 15:45 Hrs., Officers students ofJoint Chiefs of Staff Course , visited the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA). Officers of the Army, Navy, Air Force of Chile and foreign armies, were received by the Director of SHOA, Captain Patricio Carrasco H., who greet them and gave them a lecture about the tasks of the Service.del Servicio. Later, they visited some of the dependencies which are instructed on the Flow Mapping and the National Tsunami Warning (SNAM), on Department of Hydrography and Oceanography respectively. It should be noted that this activity is part of the second week of the Joint Chief of Staff Course, to learn about different departments and units of the Navy. | |
