INTERNAL ACTIVITY ON THE OCCASION OF EASTER

           
          On Thursday  April 01 at 08:30 hrs. was held at the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA), an internal activity marking the beginning of Easter, which first participated chaplains two religious faiths: Catholic Chaplain Jorge R. Corres and the National Evangelical Chaplain, Pastor O. René Ojeda

          To begin the ceremony, the Director of SHOA, Captain Patricio Carrasco H, said the meaning and importance of the celebration of Easter as a time of contemplation and meditation on the Passion, Death and Resurrection of the Son of God, calling on chaplains to deliver a message and pray with the crew.

          In his speech, the chaplains emphasized the importance of Easter to Christians, remembering the words of the Gospel, made mention of the difficult times the country has experienced since February 27 and urged those present to be found in Faith , the necessary forces to overcome misfortune. At the end of their participation, conceded the blessing, extending the staff who is conducting field work and their families.

          The activity ended with a fellowship breakfast wich was served in the dining-General.
