In accordance with the provisions of Supreme Decree Nº 1560 of March 05 2010, totally handled by the Ministry of Interior, dated on March 09 2010; on Saturday April 03 at 24 Hrs official time in the Continental Territory of Chile and Chilean Antarctic, and 22 Hrs official time in the Western Insular Territory, will launch the “Winter Hours”. So on that date, clocks will have to be adjusted backward in 60 minutes through the Continental Territory of Chile and Chilean Antarctic using timezone +4. In the same way in the Western Insular Territory, including Eastern Island and Salas y Gomez Island, clocks will have to be adjusted in 60 minutes using timezone +6. The measure will be in effect until the second Saturday of October 2010. |
