On Tusday, January 12th, 2010, a delegation led by Deputy Director of Census Mr. Orión ARAMAYO B., from the National Statistics Institute (INE) visited the Service. They were welcomed by the Director of SHOA Captain Mariano ROJAS B. and Subrogating Deputy Director Lieutenant Commander Miguel VÁSQUEZ A.

            Mr. Aramayo spoke about the Population and Housing Census 2012 project and possible cooperation this Service may provide with regard to Coastal Territorial Information.

            Subsequently to the presentation and exchange of information, they visited the Departments of Hydrography and Oceanography, where the delegation was able to appreciate the work that is being done.
