On Friday, January 8th, at the Naval Polytechnic Academy, with a significant ceremony and accompanied by family members, students from Training Courses oriented to Sailors and Marines of the Military Service graduated, receiving accreditation in several trades.
On this occasion, 9 Sailors approved the “Aprendiz Asistente Encuadernador” (Bookbinder Apprentice Assistant) course, carried out at the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy. The first place of this course was obtained by Sailor SM Mauricio URBINA A., who along with other awarded students, was congratulated by the Director (S) of the Naval Polytechnic Academy, Captain Héctor OYARZÚN M. and by the Regional Director of the National Training and Employment Service, Mrs. Ana AUGER V.
These courses that allow them to develop their capabilities and to reintegrate into work with new competencies to face it, have the added value of discipline as well as the ability to work as team. In addition, they are part of the agreement the Chilean Navy has with SENCE, since 1987.
