CHILEAN NAVY HYDROGRAPHIC AND OCEANOGRAPHIC SERVICE

On December 19th, at 10:30 Hrs., at the Honor Yard of the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA) took place the Military Graduation Ceremony of Seamen, Hydrographer and Oceanographer Course and End of the Academic Year. The Ceremony was presided over by the Director of SHOA and Chief of the Instruction Center, Captain Patricio CARRASCO H., and had the attendance of the whole personnel.

Afterwards, Captain CARRASCO delivered a speech directed to the recently graduates expressing that “it is important to highlight that the achievement of this new generation of professionals corresponds to a synergetic work of each one of us, as well as of all those dedicating to education, whose work has been developing for more than 20 years.

Later, accompanied by Deputy Director, Commander Álvaro CARRASCO F. presented an award to M1 Jaime CORALES Parra, first of his course, as well as the diplomas to every graduated student.

For the end of the Ceremony, students along with there families, teachers, and personnel from the Instruction Center, enjoyed coffee and cake at the Service Historical Gallery.
