On Saturday, September 13th, it was officially inaugurated the 20th version of the Semana de la Chilenidad (Week of the Chilenidad), event organized by the Federation of Breeders of Chilean Horses and the Town Councils of Las Condes, Vitacura and La Reina, located in the Padre Hurtado Park and which was attended by Government Authorities, members of the Parliament and representatives of the different areas of the Armed Forces and Public Order.

As in previous years, the Chilean Navy had a booth in which samples of the General Directorate of Maritime Territory and Merchant Marine were shown, as well as samples from the Shipyards and Dockyard Workshops of the Navy; of the Marine Corp; Naval Academy; Escuela de Grumetes and the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Chilean Navy (SHOA, by its initials in Spanish), with samples that reflected the humanitarian help given by the institution to the Chilean population.

The exposition of the SHOA included a Sea level Station, a folder with flood charts for Tsunamis (CITSU, by its initials in Spanish) and the display of these charts on a screen, through Google Earth, as well as information, flyers and institutional videos referring to the National Tsunami Warning System (SNAM, by its initials in Spanish).

The fair was open to public until Sunday, September 21st.
